Six people have appeared at Bristol Crown Court in connection with the death of teenager Becky Watts.
Becky’s stepbrother Nathan Matthews, 28, and his girlfriend Shauna Hoare, 21, are charged with her murder and will face trial on 6 October.
Karl and Donovon Demetrius, 29, Jaydene Parsons, 23, and James Ireland, 23, are charged with assisting an offender.
Becky, 16, was reported missing on 20 February. Her remains were found at a house in Barton Hill on 2 March.
Her disappearance prompted a huge search effort by police from several forces, joined by dozens of locals.
All six defendants appeared before Judge Neil Ford QC, the Recorder of Bristol, for a hearing at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday.
The court heard the trial, set for 6 October, is expected to last for up to five weeks.
Some of Becky’s family and friends arrived at court wearing badges featuring a photograph of the teenager.
Mr Matthews, of Hazelbury Drive, Warmley, South Gloucestershire, Ms Hoare, of Cotton Mill Lane, Bristol, Karl Demetrius, of Barton Court, Bristol, and Mr Ireland, 23, of Richmond Villas, Avonmouth, were remanded in custody.
Ms Parsons, of Barton Court, Bristol, and Donovan Demetrius, of Marsh Lane, Redfield, Bristol, were released on conditional bail.
