Saudi-led warplanes and battleships bombed the largest military port in Yemen located in the city of Hodeida, this morning Yemen Times reported.
According to local military sources the base was completely destroyed and Reuters reported that two warships were damaged.
The collation launched At least 15 raids targeting the military base which also led to the destruction of the command and control center, weapon storages, and 7 boats.
Locals said that two other locations controlled by Houthi forces were hit by the coalition in Hodeida.
The raids also hit an extension belonging to Major General Ali Mohsen Al Ahmar, 7 were reported dead and 12 injured.
The college of medicine in Hodedia was also severely affected by the air strikes according to civilians.
